With a long history in the pick your own and agritoursim industries, the Wickham family was looking for a way to differentiate its CSA operations from its other operations to promote a more “refined and classy” look. The operation needed an updated web presence that would help to promote the CSA program while providing program information to new and perspective customers while serving as a place for updates and resources for existing members.
Agriculture Web Design Group worked with Wickham Farms CSA to rebrand the CSA operation from the agritourism and pick your own business without losing the farm’s identity. The new website is fully mobile responsive and can be updated easily using WordPress to reflect upcoming events or important member announcements throughout the growing season.
The website now features a price and features comparison for each of the different CSA share options as well as an in depth FAQ section to help address common questions. Additionally, the site features a members only section which is used to upload recipes and other resources for members to access.
This project was very successful. Site visitors are now able to navigate the site with ease on any device format. Additionally, the site owners have been able to convert site visitors to newsletter subscribers, ultimately helping to increase the number of CSA shares sold.
